The perfect solution for time poor Business Owners wanting to learn & become inspired.

The culture continues to grow in the world of Small Business, creating a Personal Brand to either lead your business, or drive more traffic and credibility to your company.

Below are 4 tips to assist with creating your Personal Brand

Tip 1: Expertise

What are you known for, or what do you want to be known for? Once you have this, you then need to go a layer deeper and be more specific.

For Example: I'm a Business Coach, specialising in Business & Marketing Strategies for Small Business Growth and Evolution.

See how this is far more specific than a Business Coach?

Creating a this more niche approach brings further opportunities to prove you know what you're talking about. While the audience you're speaking to may be smaller, you are far more likely to be relevant and which then has the ability for higher conversions.

Tip 2: Content Marketing

I am a HUGE advocate of using a variety of Content Marketing. It's served my business extremely well over the past 7 years, and I can honestly say that it has been a large driving force for where I am today.

The approach for Content Marketing needs to be tailored to the Business Owner rather than everyone taking the same approach.  This is because everyone has different strengths - and the strategy needs to play to your strengths rather than your weaknesses (may people do not enjoy writing blog articles....!)

Content Marketing has the ability to build trust, credibility and reputation. It's your platform to highlight your expertise and a way to drive traffic to your site.

Through becoming a trusted source via your content, you then have the ability to become known as an expert within your field.

Tip 3: Social Media Persona

Ensure your Social Media channels are supporting your Personal Profile through regularly updated Profile Descriptions, professional Avatars and daily content.

You should also ensure that approx. 70% of your posts are leading your audience throughout your business via clear call to action.

Tip 4: Public Speaking & Networking

Public speaking is a great way to showcase your expertise and reach a new market. It can take several years focusing on building your profile before being asked to speak, however knowing that you're working towards this allows you to take relevant action now....

In addition, online & offline networking is key. I know many people absolutely detest the word 'networking', however it isn't what is used to be. You don't need to be an extrovert with a handful of business cards!

Seek out Industry events, breakfast / lunch speaking panels, expert talks plus more. Engage with other individuals within your field, social influencers and others who may be valuable in helping to spread the word about your expertise / connect you with relevant people.

It's though my networking which has tapped me into a variety of different pockets of contact both within my Industry and outside.
