Steps to dealing with overwhelm in Business

1. Recognise & acknowledge overwhelm
If you feel anxious, quite often this is coupled with overwhelm. It's when we are focused on thinking about the future, about where we need to be and what we need to do.....before we get there.
Rather than letting anxiety take over, ensure you stop and slow down. Recognise this is part of being overwhelmed as this will help to get around this in the future.
2. Recognise when it creeps in
Rise above overwhelm.
Knowing the signs of feeling overwhelmed and anxious will give you power and freedom. Rather than becoming stuck in it, it's important to rise above.
3. Steps to overcoming overwhelm
- Stop everything you are doing
- Recognise the feeling and know you'll move away from this
- Take slow deep breaths and relax
- Write a list of what you need to do next, to move forward. Staying focused is incredibly important.
