UBX

UBX started with one aim in mind: to give everyone the opportunity to train like a boxer.

Their workout consists of 12 rounds of boxing and strength training. Six of the rounds include boxing exercises, whether that’s bag work or one-on-one pad work with a coach. The other six rounds include a combination of functional strength, cardio and conditioning movements. During a workout, you get one-on-one time with the coaches to work on form, technique and do pad-work. UBX use thousands of exercises in unlimited combinations to provide a new workout everyday.

Get Paddling!

You may have seen a rise in stand up paddle boarders at your local waterways. This is one workout that is taking Australia by storm this year as it provides immense physical benefits in that to balance you work almost every muscle in your body. It is also a good way to get in tune with yourself and with the natural surroundings around you. With paddleboarding now more accessible than ever with inflatable, yet sturdy boards from Red Paddle Co you can either grab a board for yourself or join the She SUPS community in Manly for guided SUP lessons & tours.

Fluid Running

Love running, but don’t love the impact on your joints? Why not try a new wave of water exercise with Fluid Running! Founded by marathon runner, Jennifer Conroyd as an alternative to land-based running after she sustained an injury but didn’t want to be side lined. The Fluid Running app offers a variety of on-demand, instructor-led running programs that can be done in deep or shallow water. Some workouts contain sprint or HIIT intervals while others are instructed at a more moderate pace. There are options for everyone no matter what your fitness level and you can choose workouts that range from 30 minutes - 1.5 hours. The workouts themselves are instructor based, motivating and come backed with some great music. The Fluid Running system comes with workouts, waterproof headphones and a flotation belt.
