Set in a bright loft overlooking Redfern Park, House of Yoga is not your typical yoga school. It is an urban Oasis. Their mission is to create a community where one can feel a sense of ’coming home’, where health and wellbeing is promoted while bringing joy, fun and peace into your life.
Offering various styles of yoga, including Vinyassa Flow, Creative Hatha and Acro Yoga, they cater for all levels, from beginning to the advanced. You’ll be physically and mentally challenged, but also energised and relaxed.
If your usual workout routine involves a lot of heavy cardio and/or strength, yoga is the perfect counterbalance. If you haven’t moved for a while, yoga is the perfect way to get your body back into a physical flow. If you never seem to be able to ‘switch off’ your mind, through yoga you’ll learn to cultivate a sense of stillness and calm. You don’t have to be flexible or fit to do yoga – you work at your own pace and through regular practice your body will slowly strengthen and open up.
