However there is one brand that we love, that won’t break the bank when it comes to updating your workwear wardrobe.

The Fable, who is famous for creating the ultimate silk shirt, spotted a gap in the market for creating a more affordable option for the woman who wants to look chic at work but who doesn’t want to spend their entire paycheck on workwear. They have recently brought out their new Cotton Poplin shirt line which retails for $99. It is available in black and white, with more colours to be added soon. Here is why we love it.

It’s versatile and chic

A good black or white shirt that is well-made and well-fitted can be worn again and again for years.
